Popular Las Vegas plant-based Mexican restaurant, Tacotarian, plans to open a fourth location in the Valley.
The Las Vegas vegan restaurant currently has two locations — in the Southwest and Arts District. Earlier this year, it announced plans to open a third location in Henderson.
And now, the eatery is in the beginning stages of opening its fourth location.
The fourth Tacotarian location, set to in the second quarter of 2022, is in the new Jansen Center at the southwest corner of Blue Diamond and S. Decatur.
It will be similar to the Ft. Apache and soon-to-open Henderson locations.
In addition, the fourth Tacotarian will also have a corner patio with outdoor seating. The menu is the same, complete with boozy margaritas.
“The southwest area is booming and we loved the idea of being in a new building,” says Dan Simmons, co-founder. “It’s a great spot for those who live in the southwest, Mountains Edge and Southern Highlands areas. We can’t wait to bring our third and fourth locations online in the coming months. It brings us one step closer to our dream of a vegan taco shop in every neighborhood in the US.”
Tacotarian first came on the vegan dining scene in 2018 when it opened on Ft. Apache. Instantly catapulting to a must-visit thanks to its abundant selection of tacos (nearly 20), the second location opened at the end of 2019.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner weekdays and includes Mexican eats like burritos, flautas, Taki-covered elote, plus soup, salad and desserts.
They are also home to the world’s largest taco. Every location also features a bar with drinks like specialty margaritas, horchata and more. On weekends, Tacotarian serves brunch with items like JUST Egg omelette, breakfast sandwiches and chicken and waffles.
Recently, Tacotarian gained international attention when Vice President Kamala Harris stopped in while she was visiting Las Vegas.
